From emergency pet surgery and lab services to radiology and cardiac monitoring, our emergency vets have the equipment and experience to best care for your pet.

Directions

Our facility is located on the Erie Zoo campus, in the east end of the JMC Ice Arena building. We are located just south of Glenwood YMCA of Greater Erie at the corner of Cherry Street and 38th Street.


From the North/East:

I-86 West to I-90 West, exit at #27, State Street. Go right at ramp. Go 2.8 miles to intersection, turn left onto 38th Street. Go left at the next light into the zoo complex. Pet Emergency Center is to the right.


From the South:

Rt. 19 to Peach Street. Follow North to 38th Street. Go right. Go right on Cherry Street and make immediate left into the zoo complex. Pet Emergency Center is to the right.


From the West:

I-90 East to exit at Peach Street. Follow North to 38th Street. Go right. Go right on Cherry Street and make immediate left into the zoo complex. Pet Emergency Center is to the right.

For our emergency services, walk-ins are welcome, however, we recommend that you CALL FIRST so that we may be best prepared for your pet's emergency. Although it may not normally be in your pet's nature, any injured or scared animal can potentially bite. Please use extreme caution when approaching or moving any injured animal!
